In the global market, on the Comex, gold slipped 1.25 percent and traded at around $4,232 an ounce (gold rate today), while on the Comex, silver traded at $65. On the MCX it slipped more. Gold declined 2,900 on MCX, and silver dropped 5,100.
August Gold on MCX slipped 1.48 per cent to Rs 1,50,180 (gold rate today) per 10 gram. At the time of writing, it lost 2,263. It hit the day's high of Rs 1,50,853 and the day's low of Rs 1,49,500 during the trade. During the last trade it had closed at 1,52,443.
