Asha Parekh said while answering the question related to marriage during an interview given to Verve Magazine.
‘The best decision of my life is to be single. I used to love a married man, but I didn’t want to be a house breaker. So the only choice I had was to remain single and have lived my whole life like this.
Asha Parekh has also told in her biography (The Hit Girl) that she chose her self-respect first. In this book, Asha Parekh wrote, ‘She was in love with director Naris Hussain, but due to him being married, Asha Parekh kept her distance.’
She told that instead of getting married, she likes to spend time with herself and likes to hang out with her two friends Waheeda Rehman and Helen.
