BJP Leader Anil Tiger Shot Dead in Broad Daylight in Ranchi: City in Shock

In broad daylight, a BJP politician from Jharkhand and former Zila Parishad member, Anil Tiger, was shot dead in the Kanke region of Ranchi on Wednesday. His death marks one of the most sensational killings in the recent times and has shocked the Ranchi.

The 62-year-old BJP politician, Anil Tiger Mahto, was shot by two assailants traveling on a motorcycle at around four in the afternoon. He was buying tea from a stall at the time of the incident. His family was in the vicinity when Anil was shot. They rushed him to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences (RIMS) in Ranchi, where he was declared dead on arrival.

As per to last reports, the interpretation was that the accused still has to be interrogated in detail to find motives behind the shocking crime. People who saw the entire event claimed that Tiger was relaxing at the hotel located at Kanke Chowk when a motorcycle carrying two other men pulled up, shot him at close range, and made a quick getaway. People started to run away when the first shot was fired, and utter chaos erupted.
