If you are planning to visit the bank to execute any vital undertaking, ensure you check this update. As per the holiday list provided by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI), some banks will be closed on this day.
Reasons for bank closures:
On account of Parashuram Jayanti, bank holiday is permitted in Himachal Pradesh. As Parashuram Jayanti is religiously observed as the birthday of Lord Parashurama, the sixth incarnation of Lord Vishnu. Parashuram Jayanti falls on Tritiya Tithi of Shukla Paksha in the month of Vaisakh which is known to be very auspicious. Lord Parashurama epitomizes valor and protection of faith and a powerful defender against tyranny.
