Babri Masjid Action Committee President Zafaryab Jilani passed away, undergoing treatment for head injury.

Zafaryab Jilani, a senior lawyer from Lucknow and secretary of the All India Muslim Personal Law Board (AIMPLB), passed away on Wednesday morning. According to sources, he died in Lucknow. Zafaryab district was struggling with many problems after a head injury for some time.

He was admitted to ICU

Babri Masjid Action Committee was represented by senior advocate Zafaryab Jilani in the Ayodhya Ramjanmabhoomi case. He advocated in the Supreme Court on behalf of the Babri Masjid Action Committee in this matter. However, before this he has also been the Additional ADG of UP. He suffered a head injury and was undergoing treatment at Madanta Hospital for serious injuries. He was kept in ICU. He was also made the chairman of the Babri Masjid Action Committee.
