Suspense crime, Digital Desk : A significant new chapter has unfolded at the magnificent Ayodhya Ram Mandir with the opening of its first floor, which houses the sacred "Ram Darbar." Devotees and visitors can now have the darshan (holy viewing) of the complete divine family—Lord Ram, his wife Sita, his brothers Lakshman, Bharat, and Shatrughan, and his devoted companion, Lord Hanuman.

This opening marks a major milestone since the temple's grand consecration ceremony in January 2024. While the ground floor is home to the cherished idol of Ram Lalla (the child form of Lord Ram), the newly accessible first floor offers pilgrims the profound experience of seeing the fully assembled court of Lord Ram.

For those planning a visit, here’s everything you need to know about accessing the new Ram Darbar.

Visiting the Ram Darbar: Timings and Passes

The good news for pilgrims is that visiting the Ram Darbar is a seamless part of the overall temple visit.

  1. Darshan Timings: The Ram Darbar is open to the public daily from 7:00 AM to 9:00 PM.
  2. Passes and Booking: You do not need a separate pass for the Ram Darbar. The same free pass used to enter the main temple for Ram Lalla’s darshan will grant you access to the first floor.
  3. How to Get a Pass: Passes can be obtained for free at the temple's offline counter. Alternatively, to save time, visitors can book their darshan slots online through the official Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust website.

Entry Process and Aarti Information

Entry into the temple complex is through the main gate, known as the Singh Dwar. After depositing personal belongings like mobile phones and bags in the provided lockers, devotees will have their passes scanned before proceeding for darshan.

For those seeking a more immersive experience, the temple trust also offers online booking for three special aartis (ritual worship ceremonies):

  1. Shringar Aarti
  2. Bhog Aarti
  3. Shayan Aarti

These aarti passes must be booked online, and devotees are required to present a valid government-issued ID to attend.
