If you keep an eye on the stock market, you’ve probably heard the name Ashish Kacholia. Often called the "Big Whale" of the Indian market, his portfolio moves are watched like a hawk. This time, it’s a home textile company called Faze Three that’s making all the noise.

Over the last five years, this stock hasn’t just grown it has exploded by nearly 650%. But what’s even more interesting is what happened this week. In just three trading sessions, the stock zoomed up by 47%.

The Big Relief: The 'Trump' Factor

For a while, the Indian textile sector was feeling the heat. The US had imposed heavy tariffs—up to 50%—on Indian textile products. Since Faze Three gets about 90% of its revenue from exports to the US, UK, and Europe, this was a huge worry.

But things changed fast. Following an announcement by US President Donald Trump, the tariff on Indian goods has been slashed to 18%. This single move has made Indian textiles far more competitive against rivals like China, Bangladesh, and Vietnam. Investors saw this as a massive "green signal" and started buying in bulk, leading to back-to-back upper circuits.

Who is Faze Three?

If you’ve ever bought a high-end bathmat, rug, or cozy blanket from a global retailer, there’s a good chance it was made by Faze Three. They specialize in high-quality home furnishings.

Ashish Kacholia has been a believer in this story since September 2021. As of the December quarter, he holds a 5.42% stake in the company. With the promoters holding a solid 58%, the ownership structure looks stable, which usually gives retail investors more confidence.

What Should You Know?

While the 650% return over five years is jaw-dropping, the recent 47% spike shows how quickly market sentiment can change based on global trade policies. With the India-US trade deal looking more positive, the textile sector is back in the spotlight. Whether Faze Three can maintain this "rocket" speed remains to be seen, but for now, it's definitely the star of the textile show.
