Anora, a romantic comedy film that has received a lot of praise, stars Mikey Madison in the lead role. About the Film
Anora is a 23-year-old sex worker residing in a Russian-American Borough of Brooklyn called Brighton Beach. Everything about her life is mundane until she stumbles across a young heir to a Russian oligarch, Ivan Vanya Zakharov. Vanya proposes marriage to Anora after falling head over heels over her. What’s more surprising is that he had hired her for $15,000 for a week while wanting to marry her at the end of their romance filled journey. What happens next is a complicated and powerful meshing tale filled with veneration, ambition, power, and love.
The film was first showcased at the 77th Cannes Film Festival on May 21, 2024, after which a theatrical release followed on October 18, 2024. Anora has received immense acclaim from critics and audience alike, and superseded all expectations by becoming a worldwide sensation.

Anora can be watched by audiences in India for the very first time on JioCinema and Jio Hotstar starting from March 17, 2025. The movie will be accessible in both English and Hindi languages widening the scope for audience.
