Despite living what many consider a dream life, Anjali revealed that her journey has involved extreme sacrifices—particularly with sleep.

In a candid interview with Bollywood Bubble, Anjali shared that she worked 21-hour shifts daily for five straight months, getting only three hours of sleep each night. “Just because my size is different, it doesn’t mean I’m not fit. I can dance for 8-10 hours,” she said. She participated in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa for 12 weeks while simultaneously shooting for Dabba Cartel and another project.

Even after suffering a knee injury, Anjali said she continued to push herself, describing the experience as both intense and enjoyable. “I got punished for it. But it’s okay. Anyone can get punished for it,” she added.
