Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Pilgrims visiting one of Hinduism's most sacred sites, the Kashi Vishwanath Temple in Varanasi, can now immerse themselves in its rich history and spiritual significance like never before, thanks to a new high-tech audio guide service.

The initiative, inaugurated by Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath, aims to blend ancient tradition with modern technology to enhance the spiritual journey for millions of devotees. The service, named "Audio Kumbh," provides visitors with a personal device and headphones, offering a guided tour through the temple complex and the expansive Kashi Vishwanath Corridor.

Developed by the company Tagbin, the audio guide offers detailed narratives on the temple's history, architectural marvels, and the deep mythological stories associated with Lord Shiva and the holy city of Kashi. Currently available in Hindi and English, there are plans to expand the service to include multiple other Indian and foreign languages to cater to a global audience.

During the launch, Chief Minister Adityanath highlighted the project as a key step in leveraging technology to make the pilgrimage experience more informative and profound. He personally tested the device, listening to the narration about the temple's spiritual importance.

This technological upgrade is the latest in a series of major enhancements at the site, following the massive redevelopment of the Kashi Vishwanath Corridor project. The audio guide is designed to provide visitors with a deeper understanding and connection to the sanctity of the temple, transforming a visit into a comprehensive and immersive spiritual education.
