Suspense crime, Digital Desk : Capcom has officially pulled back the curtain on its latest animated feature, Resident Evil: Death Island, and it's the epic team-up fans have been dreaming of for decades. In a new reveal, the company confirmed that legendary heroes Leon S. Kennedy, Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Claire Redfield, and Rebecca Chambers will all share the screen for the first time in this high-stakes CGI thriller.

The story unfolds on the infamous Alcatraz Island. The plot kicks off with two separate but converging missions. Leon S. Kennedy is tasked with rescuing Dr. Antonio Taylor from a group of kidnappers. Meanwhile, Chris Redfield is investigating a mysterious zombie outbreak in San Francisco, where the source of the infection seems impossible to trace.

As their investigations progress, both heroes discover that all clues point to one location: Alcatraz. There, a new evil awaits them, and they soon find themselves in a nightmarish battle for survival.

Joining the fight are some of the series' most beloved characters. Jill Valentine, still dealing with the trauma of her past, rejoins the fray alongside Claire Redfield and Rebecca Chambers. The film promises a long-awaited reunion and a powerful alliance against a new antagonist named Dylan.

The movie is a direct follow-up to the animated film Resident Evil: Vendetta and the Netflix series Resident Evil: Infinite Darkness. It is directed by Eiichiro Hasumi and written by Makoto Fukami, the same creative team behind Infinite Darkness, ensuring a consistent tone and style. Produced by Capcom and the renowned animation studio TMS Entertainment, the film is set to be distributed by Sony Pictures Home Entertainment.

For fans, Resident Evil: Death Island represents a monumental moment, finally bringing the pillars of the franchise together to face a common, terrifying threat.
