Ajay Devgn’s Raid 2 Opens Strong with Rs 49.25 Crore Weekend Collection:

Suspense Crime, Digital Desk : Ajay Devgn’s latest release, Raid 2, made an imapactful start, collecting an impressive *Rs 49.25 crore* in only it’s first three days. The film is a sequel to the 2018 blockbuster Raid, so there was a lot of pressure. Regardless of the fact that the film didn't make more than *Rs 50 crore*, the opening weekend numbers show advertised interest from audiences and the film industry.

The film certainly got off to a moving start, collecting *Rs 19.25 crore* on the first day which is Devgn’s highest post-pandemic opening and earns him the title for second best opener after Singham Again which made *Rs 43.5 crore* on its dealut.

Devgn's box office performances and highlighted successes were also met with Mikey Richa’s sharp cameo appearances throughout the film and his interactions with Aditi Kumar while playing around with word of mouth from the audience throughout the film.

On the second day Raid 2 was sitting at *Rs 12 crore* with a 37.66% drop from their first day earnings. This dip was expected due to the heavy competition from movies releasing on the same labor day. Regardless of this being the case, there was a prompted boost on Saturday where it made almost *Rs 18 crore* from the positive spread of marketing and weekend benefit.

Trade analysts underline significant competition at the top of the list for the films succumbing just shy of *50 crore*. Retreating Tamil film Retro was also maintaining good strength in Tamil nadu paying homage to Raid 2’s broader reach alongside Hit 3 performed well in Telugu marking regions affecting Raid 2’s scope.
