After receiving more than 11 thousand patients in one day, PM Modi will meet with senior ministers, today two central ministers will strategize with Delhi LG-CM

Coronavirus cases in the country continue to boom. With this, the pace of infection has increased in Delhi. For the last two days, more than 2 thousand new cases are being registered in the capital. Also, there has been a tremendous jump in the number of dead here. On Sunday, Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Health Minister Dr. Harsh Vardhan will meet Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal and Lieutenant Governor Anil Baijal.

A day earlier, Prime Minister Narendra Modi had discussed with senior ministers and officials on the growing cases of Corona in the country. Both Amit Shah and Dr. Harsh Vardhan were involved in this meeting. It has been told that in this meeting the PM talked more on the states and union territories where the cases of corona are increasing rapidly. Delhi was also included in these.

Let me tell you that two days ago, the Supreme Court reprimanded the Delhi government for the poor condition of hospitals and poor maintenance of patients and bodies. The court along with the Delhi government had also sought an answer from the Center in this matter. In view of these circumstances, this meeting is to be held today for a better partnership between Center and State. Delhi currently ranks third behind Maharashtra and Tamil Nadu in cases of coronavirus. So far, around 39 thousand cases of corona have been reported, while 1271 people have lost their lives.

It is worth noting that Lt. Governor Anil Baijal recently overturned the order of Kejriwal, in which the CM decided to reserve Delhi’s hospitals for Delhiites. Soon after, Home Minister Amit Shah and CM Arvind Kejriwal met Corona on the deteriorating situation. Then Kejriwal tweeted after the meeting that the Home Minister assured him of all help in the fight against Corona. However, today’s meeting will also include AIIMS director Dr. Randeep Guleria along with LG Anil Baijal and several officials associated with the State Disaster Management Authority (SDMA).
