CNG prices in Delhi and surrounding cities have increased by Rs 1 per kg from today. Giving information about the increase in CNG prices, Indraprastha Gas Limited said that it will be implemented from 6 am on Tuesday. Till now, CNG in Delhi was at Rs 42 per kg, which has now increased to Rs 43 per kg. Apart from this, the price of CNG in Ghaziabad, Noida and Greater Noida adjacent to Delhi has now gone up to Rs 48.75 per kg, which was Rs 47.75 per kg till now. However, there has been no increase in the prices of PNG. Earlier, the price of LPG in the capital increased by Rs 11.50 per kg.
In April, the price of CNG was reduced by Rs 3.2 per kg and the rate of PNG was reduced by Rs 1.55 per kg. Since March 25, the fuel cell has seen a decline of up to 90% due to the lockdown implemented across the country to deal with the corona. Now, even after getting relief on the movement, the sale of fuel has not reached the level before the corona. Sources in the company said that despite a big drop in sales, there has been no reduction in spending. The company has had to spend on salary, power connection, fix charge, rent and equipment as before.
Domestic LPG cylinders cost up to Rs 37 in cities: Since Monday, the price of non-subsidized domestic LPG cylinders in Delhi has also increased by Rs 11.50. After the price hike, the non-subsidized cylinder is getting in Delhi for Rs 593. Apart from this, the price has increased to Rs 616 in Kolkata with an increase of Rs 31.50. In Mumbai, the price is Rs 590 with an increase of Rs 11.50 and in Chennai a cylinder is increased by Rs 37 to Rs 606.50. Earlier in May, the price of non-subsidized cylinders was cut by Rs 162. Due to this, the first cylinder available for Rs 744 became Rs 581.50.
