As expected, the fans did seem disheartened after this news, however, the reveal turned out to be in their favor.
This non-credible news has also given attention to a website which is purely meant for clickbait, american-info.com. Not only that, but other Facebook pages like Lovely Tips and Ferriola Ohm Marie also decided to share the hoax. Contrary to the claims being made, Reba still is active and in perfect health working social media buzzes with her new updates and furthering projects. It definitely is not new when it comes to Reba and hoaxes around her. Infamously, this website spread a similar false claim on February 26, 2025.

The page american-info.com is also claiming that Reba died because of a plane crash in 1991. That caused a fright for many of her fans. What nobody seems to remember is that this particular rumor is infamous for being widely spread and debunked.
Sadly, seven of Reba’s band members along with her tour manager passed away in that accident, but thankfully, Reba has not boarded that plane. At the moment, she is occupied with her new NBC sitcom ‘Happy’s Place’. A few days ago, she posted an update on Instagram regarding this show.

This suggests that she is not only perfectly healthy, but she is actively thriving in her career. Indeed, her plane crash and the worst of all tragedies in the Reba McEntire’s history were the deaths of the seven members of her band and her tour manager in 1991. Reba herself was with her husband and manager Narvel Blackstock and her stylist Sandy Spica in San Diego at the time of the mishap.

The accident is what made this moment heartbreaking and it was Paul’s band members next scheduled show that was supposed to happen. Only a short while ago did Reba write a tribute to her late band members and this heartfelt post further proves that sentimentality is appreciated.
She wrote, ‘We will always miss you very much, which will always be the case.’ She also told how much of a tragedy this incident was for her and shared her pictures with her old band mates. To this day, Reba has not forgotten those companions, they remain in her memories.
