Even with the premiere months away, audiences are rushing to secure their seats for what is being hailed as the actor's major comeback film.
According to industry trackers, over 38,000 tickets have already been sold across national cinema chains. This early surge has translated into an impressive advance collection of nearly ₹3 crore, signaling strong and positive anticipation for the movie.
Set for a Christmas 2024 release, Sitaare Zameen Par is a feel-good sports drama directed by RS Prasanna and also starring Genelia Deshmukh. The film is an official remake of the acclaimed 2018 Spanish movie Campeones, which tells the heartwarming story of a coach tasked with training a team of athletes with intellectual disabilities. The title itself is a clever nod to Khan's beloved 2007 classic, Taare Zameen Par, suggesting a return to the kind of heartfelt, story-driven cinema that fans adore.
