Aero India, Asia’s largest air show, has cemented its place as a leading international aviation event. Held biennially in Bengaluru, this premier aerospace exhibition is organized by the Defence Exhibition Organisation, operating under the Department of Defence Production, Ministry of Defence. The event attracts global aerospace manufacturers, technology experts, defence strategists, and top government officials, serving as a platform for industry collaboration and technological advancements.

Aero India 2025 marks the 15th edition of this prestigious event and will take place from February 10 to 14, 2025, at the Yelahanka Air Force Station in Bengaluru. The first three days will be dedicated to business visitors, while the final two days will be open to the general public, offering an up-close look at cutting-edge aviation technology and thrilling air displays.

AMCA: The Game-Changer at Aero India 2025

One of the most anticipated highlights of Aero India 2025 is the possible unveiling of India’s first fifth-generation fighter jet, the Advanced Medium Combat Aircraft (AMCA), developed by Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL). Reports suggest that HAL will showcase a model of this advanced fighter jet, marking a significant step in India's push for indigenous defence manufacturing.

In addition to the AMCA, the spotlight will be on HAL’s LCA Mk1A fighter jet and LCA Mk1 trainer, key components of India’s self-reliant defence initiatives. HAL has also announced that its pavilion at the event will feature other indigenous innovations, including the CATS Warrior system and the RUAV (Rotary Unmanned Aerial Vehicle).
