The recent happenings in Pauri disappointed the state of Uttarakhand as a bus which was carrying passengers skidded and fell into a gorge. After the bus fell into the gorge, the casualties rose to five while seventeen sustainde injuries. The injured passengers were rescued and transferred to immediate medical care. As per the reports, a bus with 22 travelers on board met an accident nearby Dahalchori situated in the district of Pauri. 



As soon as the tragedy took place, the respective control room of the district Pauri contacted the SDRF and a team was rushed to the site of accident. While providing additional information, SDRF informed that the bus that met the accident in Dahachori was traveling from Pauri towards it. Pauri police and the locals actively participated in the site of the accident to help save those in need. SDRF while concluding stated that their total of 18 injured were rescued and transferred to a nearby medical care unit.

What did we hear from Pauri DM?

Updating on the accident, Pauri Garhwal District Magistrate Ashish Chauhan stated, “Five people have died in the bus accident. Around 10 injured have been admitted to the Srinagar hospital for treatment……7 to 8 patients are admitted here in the Pauri district for treatment….‘’

CM Pushkar Singh Dhami expresses grief

While terming the unfortunate incident, Uttarakhand CM Pushkar Singh Dhami said, “I pray to God that, due to a bus accident, the four passengers died while on their way to Kendriya Vidyalaya located at Pauri. I am praying to the Lord that the departed souls may be granted a place at His feet and that the family of the deceased may be granted strength to bear this pain. Relief and rescue operations are underway by the local administration, and the injured are being taken to the nearby hospital. I make a request to Baba Kedar for the injured’s speedy recovery.”
