The drama will hit the cinema halls on 17th January, and as a result the film's producers have scheduled a special screening in order for it to be available for  Nitin Gadkari, the esteemed Union Minister, on 11 January 2025.  

Other than Nitin Gadkari, Kangana Ranaut and Anupam Kher are expected to attend the special screening of the upcoming political period drama.

Recently, Anupam Kher shared a clip on his Instagram that featured his ‘Emergency’ co-star Kangana Ranaut. In the video, The ‘Queen’ actress is seen taking blessings from Anupam Kher’s mother Dulari for the project they are about to work on. The veteran actor posted alongside the video saying, “Kangana and Dulari: Two strong women of the mountains. A few days ago Kangana suddenly decided she would like to take blessings from my mother! Mom didn’t get a chance to dress up. I teased them a lot for this! Dulari went ahead and poured a lot of love on the Kangana’s. We were it was told to be my beauty yes was also told during the talks. My mother’s favourite line is - clothes do not matter when the heart is good.”    

He also said, “dearest #KanganaRanaut for meeting Mom. She was so so happy to meet you. You both are the biggest example of #WomenEmpowerment! I pray to God that our film #Emergency becomes a big success. Jai Ho!”.  

“Emergency” was directed by, featuring Shreyas Talpade, Ashok Chhabra, Mahima Chaudhary, Vishak Nair, Satish Kaushik, Milind Soman, Larry Newyorker, Richard Klein and a lot other actors in it.

The movie, which stars Zee Studios, Manikarnika Films, and Renu Pitti, is music by Sanchit Balhara and G.V. Prakash Kumar. The script was written by Ritesh Shah. She acted as the editor of the movie alongside Nagata Tetsuo as the director of photography.

The film is directed by Kangana Ranaut and is based on the Indian Emergency. This movie will feature the Panga actress Indira Gandhi, the former Prime Minister of India.
