Saudi Arabia's top official stated on Wednesday that the country will never recognize Israel while the Palestinians hold no statehood which was disclosed after Donald Trump declared Saudi Arabia does not need Palestine.

Trump made a surprising statement on Tuesday that America would assume control of Gaza Strip following Palestinian population shifts to new territories while using U.S. capital to develop the region. Benjamin Netanyahu and Trump conducted the joint press event together.

A Saudi foreign ministry statement declares that Mohammed bin Salman delivered his position about the Palestinian issue 'a clear and explicit manner with no space for any interpretation under any circumstances.'

The foreign ministry statement emphasized Saudi Arabia will never support attempts to move Palestinian people from their native territory because Palestinian matters remain fundamental to Saudi policy.

Netanyahu announced to Trump during their press meeting that Israel plans to establish friendly relations with Saudi Arabia and predicts achieving success.

The United States had been working extensively through months of diplomatic efforts with Saudi Arabia for bilateral relations with Israel before Gaza fighting erupted in October 2023 which compelled Riyadh to postpone normalization due to Arab anti-Israel sentiment.
