Kedarnath: Avalanche behind Kedarnath temple, no damage
New Delhi : The avalanche occurred at 6.30 pm on the Chaurabari glacier, about five kilometers from the Kedarnath temple. His video has surfaced. However, Rudraprayag Disaster Management Officer NS Rajwar said it was a very small avalanche. No damage has been reported due to this.
The video was recorded by the pilgrims themselves, which has now gone viral. Seeing this video, people remembered the scene of the devastation in Kedarnath 10 years ago. In 2013, there was a sudden flood in Kedarnath due to cloudburst. Due to this flood, 1490 people died in the whole of Uttarakhand. Around 3 lakh pilgrims were trapped in Kedarnath Dham during the floods, which were later rescued by the Army, Air Force and Navy personnel. However, even after that, more than 4 thousand people went missing.
