The rhetoric about the Delhi assembly elections is continuing and the politics of allegations and counter-allegations is also intensifying. Meanwhile, BJP leader Ramesh Bidhuri has given a controversial statement about Congress MP Priyanka Gandhi. He said that he will build Delhi's roads like Priyanka's cheeks. Aam Aadmi Party and Congress strongly objected to his statement. After this, expressing regret over his statement, BJP leader and former MP Ramesh Bidhuri apologized. He said that my intention was not to insult anyone. Along with this, he also alleged that some people are trying to take political advantage of his statement.

Bidhuri apologized

Ramesh Bidhuri, BJP candidate from Delhi's Kalkaji assembly seat, wrote on his X handle, "Some people are making statements on social media for political gain with a wrong perception on the statement given by me in some context. My intention was not to insult anyone. But still if anyone has been hurt, then I express regret."

Statement of Ramesh Bidhuri

Reminded me of Lalu Yadav's statement

Once RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav had also promised to make the roads of Patna like Hema Malini's cheeks. Bidhuri's statement reminded me of Lalu's joking style. At that time too, there was a lot of controversy over Lalu's statement, but Lalu Yadav is known for his joking, so Hema Malini also did not mind it.

Congress and AAP called Bidhuri anti-women.
There was a lot of uproar in Delhi over Ramesh Bidhuri's statement on Priyanka Gandhi. Congress and Aam Aadmi Party called Bidhuri anti-women and Congress also burnt the effigy of Ramesh Bidhuri.
