Road accidents can be terrifying, especially when vehicles overturn at high speeds. A shocking accident in Karnataka has once again highlighted the dangers of reckless driving. A 20-year-old youth lost his life, while four others sustained injuries in a tragic road mishap. The accident occurred when a speeding car lost control, hit a divider, and flipped over four times before coming to a halt on its side. The impact was so severe that two passengers were thrown out of the vehicle.

The accident took place early Monday morning near Kattihosahalli in Doddabalapur taluk. A video of the incident has surfaced, showing the car crashing into a highway divider at high speed before mounting the traffic island. The vehicle then flips multiple times, sending clouds of dust and debris flying, while two passengers are ejected onto the road.
Reckless Driving Suspected
As the car overturns for the third time, its front slams onto the road, and by the fourth flip, the entire vehicle lands back on the highway. In the aftermath, the car is seen resting on its side, with one of its wheels still spinning. Bystanders rushed to the scene and managed to pull out a passenger trapped inside. Preliminary investigations suggest that overspeeding and careless driving led to the crash.
One Succumbs to Injuries, Others Under Treatment
According to the police, the car was traveling from Dharwad to Vijayapura in Devanahalli taluk when the accident occurred. The driver, 20-year-old Mohammed Yunus, suffered severe injuries and later died during treatment. The four other passengers, who sustained injuries, have been admitted to the hospital. Authorities are currently investigating the incident while ensuring the injured receive necessary medical care.
