Ed Sheeran wrapped up the India leg of his Mathematics Tour with a spectacular concert at Gurgaon's Leisure Valley Park on February 15. The show took an unexpected turn when the singer paused his performance after noticing a fan had fainted in the crowd.

Sheeran immediately called for assistance, urging the audience to make space so authorities could help. His swift and thoughtful response highlighted his deep concern for his fans' well-being. Once the fan received help, Ed resumed his performance of “Happier,” with the crowd cheering in support.

A Heartfelt Tribute to Indian Cricket

Beyond his musical performance, Sheeran expressed his admiration for Indian cricket. For his final three songs, he donned a Team India Dream 11 jersey, a gesture that resonated with fans as the Indian cricket team prepares for the Champions Trophy 2025 in the UAE. Earlier in the concert, he wore a black t-shirt with “Delhi” emblazoned on it, further showcasing his appreciation for the country.

A Night of Unforgettable Music

Throughout the concert, Ed performed a dynamic setlist featuring a mix of his biggest hits. He thrilled the audience with a mashup of “Take It Back/Superstition/Ain’t No Sunshine,” followed by crowd favorites like “Shivers,” “I’m a Mess,” “Photograph,” and “Love Yourself,” a song he originally wrote for Justin Bieber. One of the most magical moments of the night came when he sang “Perfect,” with the entire audience singing along in unison.

After changing into the Team India jersey, Sheeran closed the night with high-energy performances of “You Need Me, I Don’t Need You,” “Shape of You,” and “Bad Habits.” The crowd remained engaged and enthusiastic, making it a truly electrifying experience.

A Grateful Farewell

Before ending his set, Ed shared his deep appreciation for his time in India. He thanked the audience for their warm reception, saying, “The last three weeks in India have been magical. I’ve learned a lot. Thank you for welcoming me, and hopefully, I will come back soon!”

Ed Sheeran’s India tour covered six cities, including Pune, Hyderabad, Chennai, Bengaluru, and Shillong, before his final stop in Delhi-NCR. This marked his first-ever performance in the region, making the event even more special for both the artist and his fans. The tour, produced by AEG Presents Asia and BookMyShow Live, left an indelible mark on his Indian audience, promising more exciting performances in the future.
