The Devil Teaser to Release on Darshan’s Birthday

The actor once again took to Instagram to unveil the poster of his upcoming film, The Devil. Along with the poster, he confirmed that the film’s teaser will be released on February 16, which is also his birthday.

"Our newest venture leap coming soon to you!" read the caption, hinting at an exciting cinematic experience for his fans.

Darshan’s Video Message to Fans

After his release, Darshan posted a heartfelt video thanking his fans for standing by him during tough times. He also urged them not to gather outside his residence on his birthday, citing health concerns.

"In previous years, I have personally thanked everyone who came to wish me on my birthday. But this time, my health is the only issue. I can’t stand for long to greet everyone," Darshan explained.

He further revealed his struggles with spinal problems, saying, "Whenever I take injections, I feel better for 15-20 days, but once the effect wears off, the pain returns. I will have to undergo surgery, and my doctors will decide the next steps."

What is the Renukaswamy Murder Case?

Darshan and actress Pavithra Gowda are among 17 accused in the Renukaswamy murder case. The actor was arrested on June 11, 2023, for the alleged murder of his fan, Renukaswamy. While some of the accused had already secured bail, Darshan and Gowda were granted bail by the High Court on December 13, 2023.

Despite the ongoing legal battle, Darshan remains focused on his upcoming film and continues to engage with his fans, assuring them of his gratitude and commitment to recovery.
