As wildfires continue to rampage in some parts of Los Angeles Area leading to more than 10 deaths and the evacuation of over thousands of individuals from their homes, officials are seeking possible sources that could have sparked the fires. As the Masters Report states, lightning has always been a major cause of fires in the US but in this case they are ruled out by officials owing to the lack of reports on lightning in the Palisades region or the area around Eaton fire. Remember, Eaton fire also began in Los Angeles County and burnt down several houses.
