Shahid and Amrita were cast opposite each other for the first time in the film Ishq Vishk, And then proceeded to act together in multiple films. And thereafter, the couple was most boomed in the movie Vivaah.
Amrita Rao slapped Shahid.
It is a known fact that actresses perform to slap Shahid Kapoor during one sequence of the movie Ishq Vishk. However, due to some reasons Amrita was not able to slap Shahid and to set.
This is becoming very challenging for Amrita to perform the scene. Amrita Rao spoke about this during her interview with Zoom. ‘Ishq Vishk’, is the movie where Amrita had to perform a scene which required her to slap Shahid.
Amruta Rao has also pointed out that on that day, everyone was on set and even Shahid’s The whole family was there. So the actress was very overwhelmed at the idea of slapping him. Amrita said that she had never done such a thing against and the director had requested her to make it look more realistic and convincing. Shahid’s mother was actually the one who motivated me. Neelima Azim encouraged and instructed me on how to go about slapping Shahid and gave me the strength I needed.
It was a superhit movie in the end.
The actress further said that when the scene was being shot, Shahid's mother was standing closer to me and saying constantly punch me and do it, so I have to do it. So with her support and motivation, I did the scene. Amrita finished the scene by slapping him hard as it was meant to be and that concluded the scene.
