Canada becomes a sympathizer of India’s most wanted “Goldy Brar”, removes his name from the list of wanted criminals

New Delhi:  Canada has become a sympathizer of India’s most wanted terrorist Goldy Brar. Canada has fallen in love with this criminal, who carried out terror plots and other crimes against India, so much so that it has removed the gangster’s name from the list of wanted criminals. Recently recalled diplomat Sanjay Verma from Canada has said that Canada has suddenly removed the name of gangster Goldy Brar, active in the North American nation, from its list of wanted criminals. Verma said that India had shared the names of gangster Lawrence Bishnoi and Brar with Canadian authorities, who had put Brar’s name on the list of wanted criminals. But now Canada has removed him.

The senior diplomat also said the killing of Khalistani terrorist Hardeep Singh Nijjar was “wrong” and the truth should come out after a thorough investigation. “Najjar was a terrorist for us, but for any democracy, for any country with rule of law, anything that is extrajudicial is wrong,” Verma said. “We always told them that we want to get to the bottom of the whole episode so that you are satisfied, we are satisfied,” the diplomat said. He said Brar used to run a gang in Canada but many groups in that country do not have such an international reach but their influence is all over Canada. “Goldy Brar was living in Canada. On our request, his name was put on the wanted list,” Verma said.

Suddenly Goldie Brar’s name is out of the wanted list.

Verma said that suddenly, his name disappeared from the list of wanted. What do I make of it? Either he has been arrested or he is no longer wanted. “So, when violence starts over drug trafficking or human trafficking and gun running, we have seen in different parts of the world that murders take place,” he said. Brar is believed to be a member of the Lawrence Bishnoi gang and came into the limelight after he claimed responsibility for the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala in May 2022. However, reports suggest that the two are now running separate gangs. Verma said India had shared the names of Brar and Bishnoi with the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP). “So, it is not that Canada or Canadian officials woke up from their dreams and said, here is a Lawrence Bishnoi, and here is a Goldie Brar, it was an Indian agency that told them about these two gangsters,” the diplomat said.
