Ranbir Kapoor Movie Ramayan: There has been news regarding his innovative project ‘Ramayan’. As times passes, more details related to the film are released. This film will feature many actors on the silver screen together. Recently, it was reported that Kubra Sait, a 42-year old actress who portrayed the character Kuku in ‘Sacred Games’, has auditioned for the role of Shurpanakha.
She has also confirmed recently. While speaking to the media, she said that she was not cast for the part even after auditioning. Kubra says that she was perfect for this role, but still the makers chose someone else. In an interview with Kubra for Bollywood Bubble, she was asked about her casting and made a joke saying, ‘I could play Shurpanakha, but there’s no chance she will put me in the film because of my nose’.

The actress cubra recently revealed that she is eagerly figuring out who got cast into the role. While answerind this question, she seems to have created a lot of buzz among the audience. There are many well known names in the cast list of the movie. Indira Krishnan revealed in a YouTube interview that she plays the character of Mata Kaushalya, which means she is the mother of Lord Ram. Sai Pallavi is set to play Mata Sita while Ranbir Kapoor will be portraying the character of Lord Rama. Kannada superstar Yash is going to essay the role of king Ravan of Lanka and Ravi Dubey might take the role of Laxman.

Besides this, Arun Govil, who played Ram in Ramayana TV serial will be seen as Raja Dasharath this time round. The producers have opted to do this film in two parts. The first part is going to be released for Diwali 2026 and the second part will follow in the year 2027. The producers are doing this film with a huge budget and on a grand scale. To enhance the look of the picture, they are employing Hollywood Sopervision for special effects and set designs.
