26 teachers absent in Deoria, one day pay cut ordered

Deoria, May 17 (Hindustan Times). A mobilization drive was conducted to check the attendance of teachers in various council schools and DIOT, Rampur factory in all the taluks of the district. In which many teachers were absent. District Magistrate Jitendra Pratap Singh has asked to give an explanation with the instruction to deduct one day’s salary from all the absent employees.

The District Magistrate had earlier inspected the Diet Rampur factory. Seven spokespersons and six employees, including principal Anil Kumar, were found absent here. Dhananjaya Kumar Chaturvedi, Amit Kumar Tiwari, Dr. They include Jitendra Kumar, Satish Kumar Mishra, Shiv Pratap Singh and Kuldeep Kumar. Similarly, Gajendra Rao was the administrative officer, Subhash Prasad Gupta, Dayashankar Gupta, Satyam Srivastava, Krishna Kumar Maurya, Vidyananda Yadav.

After this, the District Magistrate conducted a surprise inspection of Ratanpura Tarkulwa Higher Primary School. As against 205 registered students, 69 students were present in the school. Class 4 attendance was not recorded by the class teacher for the last two days. The school employs 12 teachers, all of whom were present. The District Magistrate also sought information from the students regarding mid-day meal. Students said that they have got Tehri and milk as per the menu today. DM also inspected the kitchen.

On the instructions of District Magistrate, SDM Sadar Saurabh Singh, Tehsildar Sadar and Naib Tahsildar Sadar conducted a surprise inspection of secondary schools under Tehsil Sadar area. A verification campaign was conducted across such districts, 26 teachers were found absent.
