The streaming world is buzzing with excitement, and if you’ve been scrolling through social media, you might have heard some wild rumors: that November is going to be a blockbuster month for Indian web series, with giants like "The Family Man 3," "Jolly LLB 3," and "Maharani 4" all set to drop.
It sounds almost too good to be true, right? Well, it's time to take a deep breath and clear the air. While these shows are definitely in the works and are some of the most anticipated titles, the November release schedule you've been hearing about is more wishful thinking than fact.
Here’s the real deal on when you can actually expect your favorite shows to return.
1. The Family Man Season 3 (Amazon Prime Video)
The Rumor: Srikant Tiwari is returning to save the day this November.
The Reality: Hold your horses! The makers have officially put an end to all speculation. In a recent, highly-publicized announcement, they confirmed that "The Family Man 3" will be released on November 21, 2025. Yes, you read that right—2025. While the four-year wait is long, creators Raj & DK have promised a season that is bigger, more intense, and well worth the patience. The new season is expected to tackle themes related to the pandemic and will feature new antagonists played by Jaideep Ahlawat and Nimrat Kaur.
2. Jolly LLB 3 (Platform TBD)
The Rumor: A courtroom showdown between two Jollys is coming to OTT in November.
The Reality: This is where things get really mixed up. First, "Jolly LLB 3" is a movie, not a web series. Second, it's still being filmed! Akshay Kumar and Arshad Warsi are currently shooting the film, which will see their two iconic "Jolly" characters face off. Like any major Bollywood movie, it will have a theatrical release first, which is likely to be sometime in 2025. An OTT release would only happen several weeks or months after it has played in cinemas. So, a November 2024 streaming debut is completely out of the question.
3. Maharani Season 4 (Sony LIV)
The Rumor: Rani Bharti’s political saga continues with a new season next month.
The Reality: This is another one to file under "wishful thinking." "Maharani Season 3" was released just a few months ago, in March 2024. Creating a high-quality season of a show like "Maharani" takes a lot of time for writing, shooting, and post-production. While the show's creator, Subhash Kapoor, has hinted at a fourth season, it has not even been officially announced or gone into production yet. It's safe to say we won't be seeing Rani Bharti's next move until late 2025 at the very earliest.
4. Delhi Crime Season 3 (Netflix)
The Rumor: DCP Vartika Chaturvedi and her team are back with a new case in November.
The Reality: "Delhi Crime" fans have been waiting patiently since Season 2 dropped back in August 2022. While Season 3 is officially confirmed, Netflix has been tight-lipped about a release date. Shefali Shah (who plays Vartika) has confirmed she will begin shooting for the new season soon. Given the timelines, a late 2025 or even early 2026 release seems far more realistic than November 2024.
