Seoul: Heavy snowfall in Seoul, the capital of South Korea, has disrupted life. Seeing this dangerous snowstorm will send chills down your spine. Hundreds of flights were canceled on Wednesday due to heavy snowfall. Apart from air, rail and road traffic has also been severely disrupted. 

Let us tell you that this storm hit South Korea in November. This snowstorm is being described as the most horrific storm in the last 50 years. South Korea’s weather agency said that 20 cm of snow fell in the northern and surrounding areas of Seoul. According to the agency, this was the most terrible snowstorm in Seoul in 52 years. 12 cm of snow fell in the storm that hit Seoul on 28 November 1972. 

Most parts of South Korea are affected. 

The snowstorm lashed much of the country. The central, eastern, and southwestern regions of the country received about 10 to 23 centimeters of snow. At least 220 flights were canceled or delayed at airports across the country. Authorities ordered about 90 boats to stay at port. Snow accumulation on roads in Seoul slowed traffic in the morning while emergency workers across the country were working to clear fallen trees, signboards d, and other safety hazards. The weather agency said the snowfall will continue in most parts of the country until Thursday afternoon.
