The Mahindra XUV400 is powered by a 39.4kWh battery pack. It gives a range of 456 km, the company said in a statement. On the other hand, Tata Nexon EV comes in two versions Prime and Max. Both have different sized battery packs. While the Tata Nexon EV Prime packs a 30.2 kWh battery pack, the Tata Nexon EV Max packs a 40.5 kWh battery pack.
According to Tata Motors… the Nexon EV Prime can offer a range of 312km. But the Nexon EV Max offers a range of 437km. But the range claims made by the companies are not that much. Actually cars are not able to give that much range. World ranking statistics depend on many different factors. Much less than what the companies claim.
Mahindra XUV400 can be charged from 0 to 80 percent in 50 minutes with a 50kW DC fast charger. It can be charged to 100 percent in 6 hours 30 minutes from a 7.2 kW/32A outlet. And with a 3.3 kW/16A domestic socket, it can be fully charged in 13 hours.
The Nexon EV Prime takes 60 minutes to charge up to 80 percent with a fast charger. It takes nine and a half hours to fully recharge with a home charger. Meanwhile, the Nexon EV Max can be charged up to 80 percent in 56 minutes with a fast charger.
