Wrestler Protest News: The wrestlers, who have been sitting on dharna at Jantar-Mantar for the last 22 days, have written an open letter to BJP women MPs including Union Minister Smriti Irani. Through this letter, wrestlers have sought support from women MPs. So that action can be taken against Brijbhushan Sharan Singh.

The wrestlers said that these women parliamentarians raising slogans of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao should also join our grief and support us. Not only this, a one-day satyagraha has also been demanded at district headquarters across the country on May 16.

It has been 22 days of sitting on dharna- Vinesh

While addressing the press at Jantar-Mantar, Vinesh Phogat said that it has been 22 days since we are sitting here on dharna, but nobody from BJP has come to us yet. No woman MP has come, those raising slogans of Beti Bachao, Beti Padhao are not with us in this sorrow. Tomorrow i.e. Monday we will write an open letter to women MPs of BJP seeking their help. Our wrestlers will deliver this letter to their homes.

Support us in our fight – Sakshi Malik

Sakshi Malik said that we need the support of all the people of the society. Join our fight. What we are alleging is true. That’s why you all came to support us. Every day some people should come here for Jantar-Mantar in our support. Apart from this, Vinesh Phogat has appealed that on Tuesday, May 16, everyone should hold a one-day satyagraha in our support. Apply by visiting your respective District Headquarters.

What was written in the letter?

The wrestlers wrote in their letter, “We have been sexually harassed by the president of the Wrestling Federation of India in India. During his long tenure as president of the federation, he repeatedly sexually abused wrestlers. Many times wrestlers tried to do this. He raised his voice, but his power ruined the future of wrestlers, let alone justice.

The letter went on to say, “Now that the water has gone above the nose, we are left with no option but to fight for the dignity of women wrestlers. We have decided to put our lives and sports aside to fight for our dignity. To us.” We have been fighting for justice on Jantar-Mantar for the last 20 days.
