Due to the opening of these joints, crusts and dust particles accumulate on the walls. The Trailokyasundara temple in Dwarka has been intact for thousands of years. But this temple is now in need of repair. On the other hand, the restoration work by the Archeology Department is going on at a slow pace. At present, the situation is such that joints in pillars, arches and floors are opening in many parts of the seven-storied peak. The interlocking stones are crumbling.

Tenders have been floated several times for the renovation of the temple, but no work has been done so far. If this continues, there will be a big crisis on the temple. Zonal office of Archaeological Department of India has also been started in Rajkot three years ago. No action seems to have been taken by this office regarding the dilapidated condition of the temple stone.

Now the movement has started for the renovation of the temple. Archeology department has come into action regarding Dwarkadhish temple. The Indian Archeology Department has lost sleep after news of cracks in thousands of years old stones came to light. Officials from Mumbai regional office and Baroda and Rajkot offices have reached Dwarka. He is known to have inspected the temple himself after meeting with the local archaeological department. The meeting is said to have taken place last week.

The team personally inspected the peak of the temple. Then the head of the priest circle of the temple has also demanded against him to restore the temple. Now the devotees are optimistic about the restoration of the temple.
