Let us tell you that according to the order of RBI, 2000 rupee notes can be changed in any bank branch from Tuesday.

He said that you can change 10 notes of maximum 2000 rupees at a time. That is, if you bring 20000 rupees, then you do not need to fill any form to change it.

Let us tell you that it is not that these notes will be closed after 30 September 2023. Even after this, the 2000 rupee note will remain in circulation. 2000 notes deposited in bank branches will be sent to currency chest of ABI. Notes arriving at currency chests will not be reissued by RBI.
