HIV Patients Village:

HIV Patients Village: Children and adults in that village are all HIV sufferers. The HIV sufferers of the village which are considered the worst and shed tears in the outside world are living a very happy and peaceful life.

They thought that once a village should be freed and now they are recognizing that village as a special village and knowing about that village. Ravikant was born in this village and his thinking changed unexpectedly after the death of an HIV-infected child.

Currently ‘Happy Indian Village’ has established itself as a unique village in the country. There is a big story behind Ravikanth building a village for HIV sufferers. Going into details… Born in a farming family in Dhondi Hipparga, Maharashtra, Ravikant was expected to join the army.

But because of his short height, he was rejected for army jobs. So he became a journalist. One day Ravikant went to a village in connection with his duty. There was already a dead body of an orphan.

When Ravikant learns that the little boy who ate the crow is HIV positive, the villagers do not come forward for his last rites, so Ravikant stays with Annie Thanai and performs the child’s last rites. After the last rites, Ravikant too began to have the same thought.

There are so many people who are facing bad situation in the society.. why not help them, he thought. As expected he took the help of a friend and set up a service center on ten acres of land in a small village far from his village.

Some villagers refused to provide electricity to the service center saying it was a house for HIV sufferers. They harassed him by not giving him water and tried to drive him away from there. But Ravikant did not give up. He went to the collector and got what he wanted.

Ravikanta Sevalayam, started with a child suffering from HIV, has given shelter to hundreds of people. Ravikant established a village by educating HIV sufferers who came as young children, making them adults and marrying them. Those who once hated him, now praise him as God.
