Punjab News: Former Chief Minister of Punjab Captain Amarinder Singh’s advisor Bharat Inder Singh Chahal’s troubles do not seem to be easing. Punjab Vigilance has again summoned Bharat Inder Singh Chahal. This time he has been summoned by the vigilance for the tenth time. Earlier, the court of Hon’ble Additional Sessions Judge Manish Arora had rejected Chahal’s anticipatory bail plea on Thursday. The vigilance investigation team has asked Chahal to record the assets he has made in the last 6 years. Chahal has been given ten notices from time to time to join the investigation but he has neither responded to any of the notices nor has he reached the vigilance office to join the investigation.
Let us tell you that Punjab Vigilance has also pasted notices outside Chahal’s house and palace. But despite all the action taken by the investigation team, Chahal did not join the investigation. Whether he will appear before the investigation team this time also is not clear yet.
It may be mentioned that the technical team of Patiala Vigilance Bureau also conducted a physical inspection of Bharat Inder Singh Chahal’s property. The team had measured their marriage palace and shopping mall located on the Patiala-Sarhind road. After this, the vigilance team has sent a notice to Chahal to join the investigation.
