Varanasi: Two youths shot dead by miscreants, police on the lookout for the accused

Varanasi: Near Cholapur Danganj, miscreants shot two youths on a bike with the intention of robbery and fled from the scene. The Cholapur police, who reached on Monday late night after getting information about the incident, sent the injured youth to the hospital. Where the condition of both is normal. The police are investigating the matter.

Dinesh Yadav and Paras Yadav, residents of Daudpur village in this area, went to Tisaura village on the same bike on Monday evening to attend a wedding ceremony. While returning home late at night, both stopped for tea at a dhaba near Danganj. After drinking tea, both of them left for their village on a motorcycle. As soon as the duo reached Danganj town, two youths on a motorcycle stopped them. By the time Dinesh and Paras realized something, the youths had pulled out their pistols and grabbed the ten thousand rupees kept near their mobile. When both protested, the miscreants opened fire on them. As soon as the bullet rang out, both of them fell from the bike. After the incident, the miscreants ran away waving their hands. After the miscreants left, Dinesh somehow reported the incident to the police and his family. The police reached the spot and took the injured youth to the hospital. During interrogation, Dinesh informed the police about this incident.

According to Cholapur Police, Dinesh Yadav and Paras Yadav sustained leg injuries due to the bullet. The condition of both is normal. A case has been registered based on the family’s complaint. Police are also scanning the CCTV footage around the scene to identify and arrest the miscreants. Soon the miscreants will be caught.
