The number of Vande Bharat trains is continuously increasing across the country. The state of Uttarakhand has received its first Vande Bharat train. Prime Minister Narendra Modi today flagged off the first Vande Bharat Express train between Dehradun and Delhi on 25th May.

PM Modi flagged off the first Vande Bharat Express from Dehradun to Delhi through video conferencing. The train is completely indigenously manufactured and equipped with all the latest safety features.

PM Narendra Modi participated in the program through video conferencing. Meanwhile, congratulating the people of Uttarakhand for the Vande Bharat Express, PM Modi said that the train will connect the national capital with Devbhoomi at a faster speed. He said that now the time of Vande Bharat train between Delhi-Dehradun will also reduce significantly.
Meanwhile, PM Narendra Modi also mentioned his recent foreign trip. He said that I have returned from visiting only three countries. Today the whole world is looking towards India with great hopes. PM Modi said that the way we people of India have strengthened our economy has increased the confidence of the whole world.
He said that the way Uttarakhand is driving development by keeping law and order at the top is commendable. He said that I am sure that this divine land will become a center of attraction for the spiritual consciousness of the entire world in the coming time.
PM Modi said that people of the world want to come to India to see and understand India. In such a situation, this is a great opportunity for a beautiful state like Uttarakhand. This ‘Vande Bharat Train’ will also help Uttarakhand to take full advantage of this opportunity.
