CM Yogi gifted projects worth Rs 955 crore, said – smile that you are in Gorakhpur
Gorakhpur: Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath said that the divisive politics of cheap popularity had kept people away from development. Development is not possible by dividing the society into the lines of caste, creed, religion, region, and language. Underlining the development of Gorakhpur, the Chief Minister said that now all of you can say, “Smile that you are in Gorakhpur.”
CM Yogi was addressing a public meeting on Sunday evening after giving development projects worth Rs 955 crore to the people of Gorakhpur. During the function organized at Mahant Digvijaynath Park located in the Ramgarhtal area, the Chief Minister laid the foundation stone and inaugurated various projects of the Gorakhpur Development Authority (GDA) worth Rs 933 crore and Public Works Department and Rural Engineering Department worth Rs 22 crore.
On this occasion, he mentioned the Baba Vishwanath Dham project, which was inaugurated by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Said that all of you must have seen the dedication of Baba Vishwanath Dham in Kashi. There Prime Minister Narendra Modi not only worshiped Shiva but also worshiped, respected the workers who dedicated their labor in making the Dham. For the first time, a Prime Minister has done such inspirational work. The CM said that we also have to join such programs with every section of society.

Distributed to Visually Impaired Children Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath also distributed special tablets and other types of equipment to differently-abled children. Along with this, 100 handicapped motorized tricycles, 212 children with special wheelchairs, 264 mentally retarded children MR kits, 316 children with hearing aids, 55 children braille kits, and 116 laptops were also distributed under Mukhyamantri Bal Seva Yojna. During this, he intimately asked the children about their education and inspired them to move forward.

– Lohia Enclave Phase I – Rs 140.66 crore
– Lohia Enclave Phase-II – Rs 72.10 crore – Infrastructure
Fund works – Rs 18 crore
