Agricultural and non-agricultural farmers are getting a loan of Rs 1.60 thousand without guarantee

Ghaziabad. These days banks are giving up to 1.60 thousand rupees on the lines of Kisan Credit Card (KCC) for the livestock farmers and fisheries farmers. Banks are accepting this loan without any guarantee. So far, 24 livestock have been given to the farmers in the district. This loan is completely like KCC i.e. Kisan Credit Card, the only difference is that Kisan Credit Card has to be renewed within one year while this loan has to be renewed by the farmer within 6 months.

District Veterinary Officer Dr. Mahesh Kumar said that this loan has also been kept in the category of Kisan Credit Card. In this, the livestock owner is a cultivator, that is, he has agricultural land or does not have agricultural land. But the farmer must have been rearing at least the animals. So for raising two animals, some are being given loans from the bank at very low interest at the rate of Rs 1 lakh 60 thousand per year. He said that this loan is complete without guarantee. He further informed that similar loans are being given to fish farmers on similar lines without guarantee. This is also being given without security at the rate of Rs 1 lakh 60 thousand per year, the bill for this link will have to be renewed within 6 months…

Discussions are also going on with other banks so that farmers can get maximum benefit under this scheme of the central government. He said that banks should give maximum loans to farmers or livestock farmers without farming so that they can increase their income. He said that this loan is being given at an interest rate of only 4% per annum.
