US Storm: Storm wreaks havoc in America, 15 dead, millions forced to live without electricity

2898431 Us NewsUS News: A powerful storm has caused great devastation in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas in Central America. At least 15 people, including two children, died while many houses were destroyed and thousands of people were forced to live without electricity.

Multiple deaths were reported in Cooke County, Texas, near the Oklahoma border, where a storm Saturday night wreaked havoc in a rural area, officials said.

‘ There are only heaps of rubble left here 
The storm caused a lot of damage in Oklahoma. Guests attending a wedding here were injured due to the storm. Cook County Sheriff Ray Sappington said, ‘There are only heaps of rubble left here. There has been massive destruction.’

The sheriff said the dead included two children, aged two and five. He said three members of a family also died in the devastation caused by the storm.

Due to the storm, many houses and business establishments were completely destroyed and trees and electricity poles were uprooted in many areas. Areas around Valley View were most affected by the storm.

60 to 80 people injured at truck depot
Sappington said that 60 to 80 people were injured at a truck depot named ‘AP Travel Center’ on ‘Interstate 35’. He said that many people had reached there to take shelter.

According to a website related to power problem, more than 4,70,000 people from Texas to Kansas, Missouri, Arkansas, Tennessee and Kentucky were forced to live without electricity.
