US President Joe Biden has condemned Russia’s missile and drone attacks on Ukraine. He has said that the people of Ukraine also have the right to live in a peaceful environment. He also said that the US Defense Department will increase the supply of weapons to Ukraine and he called on other countries to stand with Ukraine.

“On Christmas Day, Russia attacked Ukrainian cities and critical energy infrastructure with missiles and drones. This outrageous attack was intended to cut off the Ukrainian people’s access to heat and electricity during the winter and threaten the security of its grid. Let me be clear: the Ukrainian people deserve to live in peace and security, and the United States and the international community must stand with Ukraine until it overcomes Russian aggression,” Biden said in a statement.

America will continue to help Ukraine

Biden highlighted US defense supplies to Ukraine in his statement and pointed out that the US will continue to strengthen Ukraine against Russia. He said, “In recent months, the United States has provided Ukraine with hundreds of air defense missiles, and more missiles are on the way. I have directed the Department of Defense to continue supplying weapons to Ukraine, and the United States will continue to work tirelessly to strengthen Ukraine’s position in its defense against the Russian military.”
