America has clearly said that for good relations between America and Pakistan, it is necessary for Pakistan to be strong, stable and prosperous.
The entire world is watching the arrest of former Prime Minister of Pakistan, Imran Khan and the furore that followed. Speaking to reporters on this issue, US State Department Deputy Spokesperson Vedant Patel said that people should have the freedom to express themselves without participating in violence. Presenting the side on the developments in Pakistan, said that America has nothing to do with any one political party or one candidate. He said that any arrest should be made to comply with the basic human rights of such a person as per their laws.
