Washington: US Secretary of State Antony Blinken and S. Jaishankar held bilateral talks during the G-7 summit in Fuji. After this, both the leaders shared pictures of the meeting on their social media X. Blinken said that America and India are strong countries working together. He said this in a post on ‘X’ after meeting External Affairs Minister S. Jaishankar on the sidelines of the G7 summit in Fuji, Italy on Tuesday.
Blinken wrote, “The United States and India are strong countries working together. Indian Foreign Minister Dr. S. Jaishankar and I discussed the importance of our continued close cooperation to promote global security and prosperity when we met in Italy today.” He also shared a photo of the meeting.
Jaishankar said this on the India-US partnership.
Jaishankar also posted about the meeting on ‘X’ and said that he discussed the global situation with Blinken and the India-US partnership, which is constantly progressing. After the meeting, State Department spokesman Matthew Miller said, “The US wants to continue close coordination with India to deal with global security challenges.” Giving information about the meeting, Miller said that Blinken and Jaishankar reaffirmed the enduring commitment of the US and India to deepen bilateral relations.
