Rishikesh, May 21 (Hindustan Times). Urban Development Minister Dr. Premchand Aggarwal inspected the construction going on from Jolly Grant Airport to Indramani Badoni Chowk under G-20. Meanwhile, Dr. Agarwal applauded the construction works and patted the officials. Along with this, MDDA Vice President Banshidhar Tiwari instructed to install large colorful plant pots on the railway bridge, Indramani Badoni Chowk, Gaura Devi Chowk, dividers and decorate the shops near Badoni Chowk under the facade scheme.
Minister Dr. Agarwal arrived at Jollygrant Airport on Sunday, where the MDDA inspected gardens and horticulture works. The airport has been planted with various species of ground cover and colorful plants including Palms Foxtail, Washingtonia, Chandani, Star Light, Copper Bottle Brush, etc., which are useful for all seasons and are evergreen, departmental officials said.
Dr. Agrawal also inspected the painting done at the airport. Departmental officials informed that theme-based pictures have been made for all 13 districts of the state, which Dr. Agarwal appreciated. After this, Dr. Agrawal reached Narendra Nagar Bend via Ranipokhari. The departmental officials said that the various species of plants planted on the bandh have been planted keeping in mind the forest area. These include bamboo, yucca, euphorbiamilli, ferns, wild bamboo etc.

Joshi, City Magistrate Pratyush Kumar, Executive Officer Municipality Doiwala Uttam Singh Negi, Executive Engineer of Loniv were present. Dhirendra Kumar, Deputy Commissioner Municipal Corporation Dehradun Kusum Chauhan, social worker Bharat Gupta, Vinay Jindal etc were present.
