Build: On Monday, a bolero car carrying a wedding procession collided with a tree near Tura Nala on Jhansi-Mirzapur National Highway under Badausa Police Station area of the district. In this accident, four Baratis were killed and three people were seriously injured. The police sent the dead bodies for postmortem while the injured were admitted to the district hospital for treatment.
The procession of Ankit Singh, son of Raju Singh, a resident of Godhani village in Tindwari police station area, went to Kurhun village in Badausa police station area on Sunday. After Jaimal etc some Baratis left for Godhani by bolero around one o’clock in the night. On Monday morning, the driver Rajeev alias Raju lost control of the oncoming car when the cattle suddenly came near Tura bridge in Badausa police station area. The out-of-control bolero crashed into a mango tree on the side of the road. In the accident, car driver Rajeev alias Raju Tiwari (48), Devraj Dwivedi (65), Lakshmi Dwivedi (70) and Kailashi (54) died on the spot. Mohit, Shivshankar and Devi Prasad were seriously injured. Shiv Shankar and Devi Prasad have been referred to Kanpur as their condition is critical.
Circle Officer Atarra Ziauddin said that on Monday morning, Badausa police station received information that a Bolero car had hit a tree. Four people in the car died in this accident. The police sent the dead bodies for post-mortem and the injured to the district hospital, where they are undergoing treatment.
