Voting for nine assembly seats in UP concluded today. There was a lot of ruckus at many places during voting, in which Samajwadi Party candidate Haji Rizwan had a scuffle with the police during voting at Kundarki seat in Moradabad. When Haji Rizwan reached a polling booth during voting today, he got angry after seeing the police checking and barricading there. Haji Rizwan asked the policemen why the barricade has been put up… and why are the policemen asking for the voter’s identity card. Checking the ID is the job of the polling officer, so why are the policemen doing this?

Police took out a revolver in Meerapur.

After Meerapur, there was a ruckus in the Meerapur seat of Muzaffarnagar also where police officers had to take out pistols to disperse the crowd pelting stones at the police. But the problem in front of the police was that the stone-pelting crowd pushed the women forward and the women told the police that they could only show the gun but could not fire it because there were no orders to fire, so do not try to scare us.

There was a lot of uproar on both these seats but out of the nine assembly seats in UP, only Mirapur and Kundarki seats saw heavy voting. Voters showered their votes on both these seats. The third seat where the highest voting took place after these two seats were Katehari and Karhal.
