Ujjain: FIR against two people who cheated Mahakal temple

Ujjain, 14 May (his). The Mahakal police have registered a case against two people for charging Rs 1,500 out of Rs 750 for tickets from three visitors from Uttar Pradesh to Ujjain in the name of Jalabhishekar at Mahakaleshwar.

On Sunday, police said temple employee Dinesh Sharma U. Balmukund Sharma, a resident of Yantra Mahal Marg, Shriram Colony filed a complaint of cheating against two people. In the petition, it was mentioned that Rakesh Verma and Mukesh Kothari paid Rs. 750 instead of Rs. 1500 per ticket from three people. Total Rs. 4500 was defrauded.

The security personnel of the temple caught these people red-handed with fake tickets. On the other hand, the pilgrims of Saharanpur filed a written complaint in the name of the temple management regarding the fraud done to them.

After being caught, the accused absconded

On May 10, Mukesh Kothari, who was entering the temple along with three visitors with a ticket, was caught red-handed by security agency personnel and taken to the assistant administrator. Hence, Mukesh Kothari ran away from here as soon as he got a chance. The police tried to contact the applicant, but he did not pick up the phone, the police registered a case under section 420, 34 against Mukesh and Rakesh, making Dinesh Sharma the complainant in the case.
